Research:

Tansy:

Tansy, (Tanacetum vulgare) is a perennial with emerald-green, fern-like leaves and bright yellow button shapes flowers. Tansy is often classified as a carminative herb and has been used by the ancient Greeks, Romans and Europeans in decoctions, teas and poultices as an herbal health supplement. When Tansy is used as an herbal supplement it is believed that the active ingredients thujone, camphor and myrtenol are what make it so effective at cleansing the digestive tract.

Wormwood:

Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) is a perennial herb, or one that grows back every year. It is an herb that’s prized for its distinctive aroma, herbaceous flavor, and purported health benefits Wormwood is native to Europe, but it is now cultivated and harvested across various climates, including parts of Asia, Africa, South America, and the United States. It has velvety white or greenish-silver stems, yellow-green leaves, and bulbous flowers that are bright or pale yellow. All parts of the plant have been used because of its health benefits for centuries.

Wormwood is used to support the function of a healthy gastrointestinal tract. Increasing saliva production, stomach acid and stimulating digestive enzymes are some of the health benefits that attribute Wormwood with the gastrointestinal support.

Wormwood essential oils are sometimes used topically. Some people apply wormwood directly to the skin for scratches and insect bites.

Wormwood is used in some alcoholic beverages. Vermouth, for example, is a wine beverage flavored with extracts of wormwood. Absinthe is another well-known alcoholic beverage made with wormwood. It is an emerald-green alcoholic drink that is prepared from wormwood oil, often along with other dried herbs such as anise and fennel. Absinthe was popularized by famous artists and writers such as Toulouse-Lautrec, Degas, Manet, van Gogh, Picasso, Hemingway, and Oscar Wilde.

Black Walnut:

Black walnut is a tree. The fruit (nut) is often eaten as a food. The shell of the nut (hull) and the leaf are sometimes used to make herbal supplements. Black walnuts (Juglans nigra) are the fruit of tree. The nut is said to offer a number of health benefits, including cardiovascular support, likely because of the high content of antioxidants. The Black Walnut contains tannins, a class of substances with antioxidant and properties. Black Walnuts are also high in unsaturated fat and protein. Though research does not support the use of black walnut in preventing or treating health conditions, black walnuts have long been used as herbal supplements. Black Walnuts contain a host of beneficial components. In addition to those already mentioned, these include the essential fatty acids linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, and linolenic acid (an omega-3), as well as minerals like magnesium and potassium. One of the key active components of the black walnut hull is juglone. Black Walnut Hulls contain juglandin, juglone and juglandic acids as well as an organic iodine. These organic chemicals are believed to provide the digestive cleansing that Black Walnuts have become so famous for.

The Parabolic Preamble of Parasites?

Do You Know What A Parasite is?

A parasite is an organism that lives on or in a host organism and gets its food from or at the expense of its host. There are three main classes of parasites in humans: protozoa (one celled - giardia, plasmodium - sometimes transferred through fecal matter), helminths (worms), and ectoparasites (fleas, ticks lice, mites, mosquitoes).

We tend to think of parasites as being a third world problem and in our clean, sanitary environment we don’t need to worry.

The truth is our world is changing and these changes make us much more susceptible to parasites now than we were in the past.

One change is that many more people are traveling to countries where these parasites are common; some areas of the world have as much as 100% infestation.

Another change is the importing of food from many of these same countries, with both events bringing unwelcome, microscopic visitors, who don’t require a travel visa. They are the real illegal aliens!

The largest causes are the contaminants we are now exposed to in our food, water and our surroundings.

Sometimes, the eggs and larvae of these parasites just pass through, or they are killed by our amazing immune system.

Weakened immune systems will sometimes allow parasites to establish themselves in the body.

The damage done by parasites to the human body has a wide range from blood loss to diarrhea, and many other health issues.

Some shocking facts about parasites:

World-wide, the numbers are staggering, an estimated 1.4 Billion people have intestinal parasite infections.

There are an incredible 500,000 varieties of parasites in this world.

Colon therapists have reported as much as 90% infection rate as they witness firsthand these parasites leaving the intestines during colon therapy.

Most parasites live in a toxic bowel but can live in almost any part of the body.

How do people get parasite infections?

There are a number of ways to contract a parasite. Most people believe that the only way is to drink or bathe uncontaminated water from an underdeveloped country. It's true that this is a common source of parasites but it's not the only source. Parasites are also found in undercooked meat, unclean or contaminated fruits and vegetables, and lakes, ponds, or creeks. Parasites live everywhere and are just lying in wait to find a new host. Since we live around people who travel the world over and we have restaurants and grocery stores that stock their food supplies from just about anywhere in the world it's possible to contract parasites in places that you would never believe possible.

These are just some of the symptoms people experience. Parasites are bad for your general health and well-being. If you feel that you have been exposed to parasites, please visit a health care professional to be tested.
